- Newspapers
- Philly Inquirer
- This is my hometown newspaper. It has both the
Philadelphia Inquirer and the Daily News. I prefer
the Inquirer. They also have info to things going on
in Philadelphia. Like other online newspapers, the news
is today's, and there are archives for recent issues.
If you want any papers from the recent past, just change
the date in the URL, it's faster.
- Washington Post
- The Washington Post is one of the better newspapers.
- Christian Science
Monitor
- Surprisingly, another one of the good papers is the
Christian Science Monitor .
- San Jose
Mercury
- The San Jose Mercury is a
surprisingly good newspaper. Give it a try as an alternative
to the other newspapers.
- USA Today
- If you like the newspaper, you'll enjoy their site.
-
Arutz Sheva (Channel 7)
- This is an Israeli media network, English edition.
Israeli media are the only foreign papers I read regularly.
- Jerusalem Post
- This is another Israeli newspaper. English only, which is
how it is printed.
- Magazines
- Time Magazine
- Time Magazine only has information on the
current issue on-line, not the actual issue.
But archives are available.
So you can get the
whole magazine one week late. Top news of the day is
presented too. The U.S and International editions are
available.
- Newsweek Magazine
- As an alternative to Time Magazine, you may
be a Newsweek reader. Newsweek does have the
current edition online.
Newswwek archives are also available.
- Red
Herring
- Red Herring is a magazine on the
business of technology. As they state, it is
your 'Internet destination for original, leading-edge
analysis and commentary about the business of technology.
With unmatched depth of analysis and insider perspective,
Redherring.com explains how technology business news and
events affect you, the economy, the stock
market, and your portfolio.'
- Newspaper and Magazines Links
- Cursor
- This site consists of links to News Services, Media
Research Sites, Newspapers, Popular Magazines,
Online-only Magazines, Alternative Weeklies, Media
Subversion sites, TV and Radio sites, and many
Columnists. They also have some media stories, which are
all old. Therefore we can assume the media links are old,
but mostly still good.
